Holladay Properties solicited Anderson + Bohlander in 2016 to assist with the development of a conceptual design framework for a hypothetical new high-tech and aerospace-focused manufacturing park on a large assembly of property at the Indianapolis International Airport. Anderson + Bohlander worked with the Client and CODO Design to incorporate elements of newly developed branding into the physical design. The package included a series of design principles that were illustrated with photographs from aspirrational peer facilities in other cities. It also included a fully-rendered conceptual site plan to help the Client and Airport to convey their idea to prospective companies looking to develop new facilities in the Midwest. A final component of the package was a series of recommendations for future streetscape improvements, planting designs, and key signage and gateway elements that would further bolster the intended branding and place-making of the development
