Anderson + Bohlander was retained by PR Mallory, LLC after working with the Englewood Community Development Corporation on several planning engagements for areas around, and including, the historic PR Mallory factory site. PR Mallory was an Indianapolis-based electronics company that provided high-level manufacturing jobs for the surrounding community that ceased operations in the 1980's. PR Mallory, LLC was formulated through a partnership with Englewood CDC and the John H. Boner Neighborhood Center in an effort to reuse the building for a productive community purpose. Currently owned by the City of Indianapolis and slated for improvements funded by various State and local agencies, the building will be the future home of the Purdue Polytech High School and the second location of the Paramount School. Plans for the site also include a new central green space where an expansive asphalt parking lot is currently located that will provide new recreational and event space for the Englewood Village community
